Scheming on a Workshop

For the last few weeks, I’ve been reading, writing, and editing like a crazy person to prepare for my Build talk. In the middle of all this, I realized I have a lot of research about writing and design. I want to get into teaching somehow, and I want to share all of these materials with you. So I’m putting together a small writing workshop focused on digital products.

I recently asked designer friends on Twitter about their experience with writers and writing. (If you want to take the survey, it’s here for a few more days.)

Most of the questions I got were about the writing process:

  • How do I work with a writer?
  • Where do I start?
  • What does the writing process look like?
  • How can I be a better writer?

I can’t speak for other writers and editors, but over the next few weeks, I’ll tell you what I do in a series of short posts here. If you think of other questions, feel free to email me or holler on Twitter.

And if you’re in New York: I’m looking for a small, quiet space for this. And if you want to be a guinea pig (er, beta attendee), let me know!
