A couple of months ago, I mentioned that I am scheming on a workshop for designers. After doing more research and listening to what people need, I’ve decided to do something a little different: office hours once a month, where people can bring work by, talk about it, and ask me questions. I love working with small groups and it sounds like that’s what people want from me right now: an ongoing working session instead of a one or two-time event. I’ll keep working on materials in the meantime, as I want to host a workshop sometime next year.
If you’re in New York and interested in joining us, let me know and I’ll add you to the list. We’ll most likely meet in Brooklyn or lower Manhattan, depending on the day. Tell me if weekends or workdays are better. And if you’re outside NYC, I’m always happy to take a train or jump on Skype for a chat. I’ll share more info here as things develop.
